Here we have a Seiko chronograph that was envisioned to be used for car racing and inspired by the view of an engine compartment. The green dial is multi-layer, with embossing and metallic applied elements. These features add depth to the dial. A tachymeter is shown on the outer portion of the dial that can be used to measure units per hour. The 8T63 movement has a stopwatch that tells elapsed time to the nearest 0.2 seconds, and allows for events up to 60 minutes.
The hands and the 12 hour marker are filled with white luminous material for reading the time in the dark. The 41mm diameter brushed stainless steel case is 12.5mm thick and 48mm tip to tip.
